Antivirus09 (Antivirus'09, Antivirus 09) is another malicious anti-spyware application. Antivirus09 installs itself onto a system via Trojan files, which generally infiltrate a system without the user’s permission or knowledge. As soon as Antivirus09 is embedded in the user’s system, pop-ups appear, asking the user to protect the computer or remove a threat. The actual threat is actually Antivirus09 itself and NOT the files that it finds on the system scan. Should a computer user receive pop-ups from Antivirus09, it may be because the application has already installed itself on the computer system. It is recommended that Antivirus09 be removed immediately from any computer system.
