VirusAlarm

VirusAlarm, also known as Virus Alarm, is another fake anti-spyware software. VirusAlarm is a replica of the rogue applications: Virus Melt and VirusMelt. The computer system gets infected with VirusAlarm via a Trojan which slips into the computer system by making use of security exploits. VirusAlarm enters the system via spam e-mails, alternatively, it infiltrates the system via other malware or spyware programs. VirusAlarm will create fake system warning alerts and will engage in a fraudulent scan report about the ‘infection’ on the user’s computer. This is a trick to scare the user into purchasing the “Full” version of VirusAlarm software. It is advised that VirusAlarm should not be trusted and should be deleted immediately from a computer system.
