Hdrivesweeper (Hdrive sweeper, H drive sweeper) is a fake application. More to the point, it is a rogue anti-spyware program that tends to be installed onto a computer via Trojan applications when visiting dubious websites or whilst downloading fake video codec from questionable websites. We should notice that Hdrivesweeper is a clone of another rogue application called Xpy Burner, XpyBurner. Once Hdrivesweeper has installed itself onto a PC, there will be a flood of false security warning alerts and pop-up messages, claiming that the PC is infected with a number of malware applications. One should bear in mind that the only infection in this case is Hdrivesweeper itself. Don't fall prey to this common scam scheme and do NOT purchase the useless counterfeit Hdrivesweeper program.
