Kido Worm (also known as Conficker, Downadup). Kido Worm is a malicious worm infection that is known to attack Windows systems and proliferates through networks due to a Windows security vulnerability called MS08-067. Kido Worm may obstruct certain websites and may install further malware onto your computer system. As is the case with a lot of malware, Kido Worm appears to launching brute force attacks to extract passwords from computer and corporate internal networks, Panda said. The easier the password, the easier it is for Kido Worm to decipher it. Once the passwords are detected, cyber criminals can access computers and use them maliciously.
