Contact Us +1-844-324-6233

The “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” is a scam that was designed to trick less experienced and gullible users. The scam is executed by malware active on your operating system, and the infiltration of this malware is quite unpredictable. It is most likely that malicious files will be silently attached to software bundles, which means that you might install them yourself unknowingly. Once executed, the infection can silently create files and modify the Windows Registry to make sure that the scam is delivered to you in a successful manner. Hopefully, you will not be tricked by the schemers behind this devious scam, and you will be able to delete the malicious components in time. If you have no clue how to remove “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” related malware, you need to keep reading.

Once the devious malware responsible for the “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” scam is executed, a message that paralyzes the entire screen is displayed. This message is completely bogus; however, it is worded in a clever manner, and less experienced users might be tricked into believing that it is real. According to this message, Windows has been shut down due to problems. In a sample discovered by our malware research team, the “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” message informed that an infection named “Zeus” was found and quarantined. According to the fake notification, this infection can steal credit card information, passwords, and emails. Obviously, that is scary, and it is no wonder that users get tricked. What is more, the scam is not delivered in a highly aggressive manner, which might make it more believable. For example, users are given hope that the message would disappear after restarting the PC. It is stated that if the message reappears, only then should you contact +1-844-324-6233. Of course, the message will reappear regardless of how many times your restart the PC.

The schemers behind the +1-844-324-6233 number are not interested in helping or assisting you. The scam was not designed for that. Instead, they will use your panic to trick you into disclosing information and, potentially, handing over the control of your entire operating system. When you call the number, cyber criminals might ask you to identify yourself. If you disclose your full name, email address, home address, telephone number, and other sensitive information, you might open the door for other scams. If schemers convince you that you are experiencing serious issues that only experienced technicians can resolve, you might be tricked into downloading software that enables remote control. Sure, the “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” scam is already initiated by malware active on your PC, but cyber crooks might use direct access to your operating system in other malicious ways (e.g., to steal your virtual identity and use it to spread malware). Of course, that is the primary reason to delete malware ASAP.

Whenever you encounter a notification that pushes you to contact an unknown party, you have to be very cautious. Although the number linked to the “Contact Us +1-844-324-6233” scam is introduced to you as a contact number of reputable technicians, you cannot just assume that it is legitimate. Instead, you should research this number before you make the decision of whether or not to call it. Sure, your PC is locked by the intimidating warning, but that is not an excuse. Use a device or computer that is not infected to cross-check the suspicious number. Even if you do not find any information – for example, if the scam is completely new – you should not trust this supposedly reliable number. If you call it, you might get scammed, and your phone company might charge you a huge fee. Now, you do not want that do you? Hopefully, you catch the scam in time, before schemers get you.
