Antivirus Sentry (AntivirusSentry) is another phony antivirus program, created by the makers of MSAntivirus2008. Antivirus Sentry is another member of the inbred Innovagest family and was designed for one purpose only: to make a computer user spend their hard-earned cash in order to purchase the ‘full’ version, which actually does not exist. Antivirus Sentry tends to hi-jack the user’s web browser, and Antivirus Sentry may actually cause the computer to act up and even freeze. AntiVirus Sentry Security Center tends to appear on computers already infected with Trojan Zlob. This particualr Trojan is capable of issuing fictitous alerts and warning messages in order to convince the users in downloading the malware it promotes, such as AntiVirus Sentry. Once Antivirus Sentry has embedded itself within a system, it may display fake scan results on the computer which usually leads to the system user purchasing the Antivirus Sentry program.
