VirusGuardPlus (Virus Guard Plus) is a renegade anti-spyware program which is actually a duplicate the VirtualPCGuard malware application. VirusGuardPlus downloads and infiltrates automatically by exploiting browser security faults. Once active and embedded within a system, VirusGuardPlus automatically initiates a system scan, which goes on to produce erroneous and exaggerated reports, claiming to have found numerous errors on the system. These ‘errors’ can supposedly only be deleted from the said system once the user has purchased the ‘full version’ of VirusGuardPlus. This entire premise is phony and should not be trusted.
