AntivirusProtection (Antivirus Protection), yet another malicious and phony spyware removal tool which claims to be anti-spyware. AntivirusProtection was designed with the distinct aim of creating a platform in which to bamboozle the computer user into purchasing unneeded and perhaps unnecessary anti-spyware. The fact that the creators of AntivirusProtection use dubious methods in which to scare users, for example, by generating false alert messages, claiming the PC is infected with dangerous malware, is evident of malicious motives and foul play. AntivirusProtection hounds the user into buying the full version of the program, by displaying numerous warning messages and scan results, which are all in fact unfounded. The promise made by AntivirusProtection to the user is that upon purchasing the full version of AntivirusProtection all reported spyware will be “removed”. This is untrue; as what may in fact happen instead is AntivirusProtection will not clean your PC from spyware, but might actually expose you to more security threats and may even install other malicious applications.
