PCCleaner2008 (or PC-Cleaner 2008,PCCleaner 2008) is a rogue anti-spyware program. PCCleaner2008 may be also known as a clone of another Rogue Anti-Spyware application called MalWarrior 2008 or VirusHeat. PCCleaner2008, as many other Rogue type applications, get into your system through browser security exploits, or via other nefarious mechanisms, such as Video ActiveX Codec - a fake video codec. PCCleaner2008 may scan your system and show fake results to scare users and push them into purchasing a license. PCCleaner2008 may also show scary system messages, which of course are also false:
