To all concerned about this rogue software.
I have now been to several jobs that have all involved WINSPYWAREPROTECT and have only successfully removed it from the registry once.......it took hours and cost the poor chap a lot of money for my time. The rest i have just reformatted the pc and installed adaware 2007 along with noscript addon for firefox. I found that in most cases that the users had downloaded flash based games from P2P sources that need to be extracted before being played....AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS!!!!the installer injects the rogue software into the system and bypasses all security and anti malware/spyware programs on the pc.
Believe me this one is brutal and replicates itself over 300 times in various places that are very hard to find, even after cleaning it renders most infected files unuseable and so literally kills the system anyway.

Did someone say they know how and where we can report Win Spyware Protect? I would like to report them to the better business bureau, as well as find out who their registered agent is for process server. Any formal names or names of officers of this "company" would be great. I'm fed up.

Found some files on Winspyware protect and it won't let me delete them. It keeps saying the disk is write-protected and access is denied. Can anyone help me with this? I'm not downloading more spy crap to get rid of spy crap!

Lavasoft's Ad-Aware doesn't even see it, and neither does McAffee. It might be worth buying the full version of a good anti-spyware program if it will help avoid having to reformat the hard drive.
