Worm.Win32.Sober is a new warning message that wants to trick users into buying rogue anti-spyware application like Malware Bell 3.2, IE Defender or Files Secure. Actually this Worm.Win32.Sober is not a threat for users computer, this message just only wants to trick users.
Worm.Win32.Sober alert can be generated by a Trojan Zlob that usually comes into users system with fake video codecs like Video ActiveX Codec or other ways. Once Trojan Zlob is installed in users system it will start to display the System Alert Pop-up like “Your browser was infected by Worm.Win32.Sober”. If you click on it, you will be directed to IEDefender's of Files Secure’s home sites.
