AntiSpywareShield is a rogue anti-spyware application that is related to Dr. Antispy. AntiSpywareShield is downloaded and installed by a Trojan (such as Zlob), through browser security holes, or under other dubious circumstances without your knowledge and consent. Once installed, AntiSpywareShield will display fake notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks in its attempts to trick the user into purchasing the full version of the AntiSpywareShield application. In addition, AntiSpywareShield may even cause sluggish performance of your computer.
