Menace Rescue is a rogue anti-spyware program that may be secretly installed on your system. Menace Rescue will intentionally seek to trick you into buying the “full version” of the software by issuing fake security notifications. Menace Rescue will display a pop-up advertisement or a balloon on your system tray claiming that your computer is infected with spyware. Menace Rescue may be secretly installed through nefarious Trojans, drive-by downloads or via other unsolicited delivery methods. Menace Rescue may also appear very difficult to remove manually because of its ability to recreate itself. Menace Rescue is an extremely dangerous threat and shouldn’t remain in your computer system.
