PestCapture is a rogue anti-spyware application that is designed to display false security messages to lure the user into purchasing the PestCapture program. These PestCapture messages often claim that your computer is infected with imaginary security threats. Once you click on the message, the PestCapture Trojan will open the home page distributing the PestCapture software. The trial version of the PestCapture is only made for scanning your computer and frightening you with exaggerated scan results. PestCapture may come bundled with other spyware/adware and may be installed without your permission and knowledge.
